Each event lasts approximately 90 minutes which includes a 15-minute introduction, 60 minutes in the escape room, and a 15-minute conversation after the event.

Some rooms are “scarier” than others, but not on the likes of “horror”.

No. All our rooms are private, but we do have a four person minimum. You can purchase tickets for your entire group when you book, or you can book by phone and just give a small deposit.

We have “Kids” Escape Rooms that are appropriate for families with children from age 5+ as well as rooms that are designed for anyone ages 13 – 103.  However, persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Because of the complexity and nature of the clues, our “standard” ( non-kids ) rooms are not recommended for persons under 13.

Please call (207) 725-MAZE (6293) to let us know you’re running late and we’ll let you know if this will affect your playing time. If you are over 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your time slot without a refund.

The sensation is that you are “locked” in a room, and in order to win the game, you and your team must figure out how to “escape” by opening one or more locked doors to gain your “freedom”. However, for safety, the entrance to the game room may remain unlocked for emergency use. There will always be a staff moderator observing the group to assist as needed. Should you need to use the restroom, you will be allowed out at any time, however, the clock will continue to count down so the rest of your team should continue playing.

Yes! We host lots of team building events as well as school and group outings.

You only need to bring your best wits and puzzle-solving ability (oh, and glasses if you need them for reading). Everything for solving the puzzles will be included in the room.

Currently, we have three physical rooms and five “themes” ( Two for younger players and three for teens and adults). This is because two of our rooms can be modified to accommodate either families with young er children or teens/adults. We are working on more rooms to be released in the near future, and themes will be changed and upgraded on a regular basis to provide new and fresh experiences for our guests. (We are also happy to entertain any ideas that you or your friends may have for new and exciting themes.)

Reservation changes or cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance with any prior payment to be credited towards a future booking. Sorry, we cannot offer cash refunds. Cancellations within 24 hours of reservation will be fully charged but may be rescheduled by calling us at 725-6293. ​No Shows will be fully charged.
